What are you avoiding?

Lately I’ve been asking myself: Where do I still play small? Where do I hold back?

As I’ve been looking at this honestly, I noticed something interesting.

Sometimes I slow myself down when it comes to making certain choices. Not because I don’t know what I want… but because the choice feels too radical, too different, or maybe a little too weird.

And when no one around me is choosing it?

I hesitate.

I delay.

But here’s what I’ve been realizing: playing small doesn’t actually serve anyone — including me.

When I hold back, I’m not protecting anything.

I’m not making things easier for anyone else.

I’m simply shrinking what’s possible.

And shrinking never creates more.

But when I choose to expand — even if it’s uncomfortable, even if it’s unconventional — something else becomes available.

Possibility opens up.

Maybe it inspires someone.

Maybe it gives someone permission to choose something different for themselves.

Maybe it shows that another way is possible.

Even if it’s just one person, that matters.

So I’m curious…

What is the one choice you keep avoiding — the one you know you really want to make?

The one that might feel a little bold… a little scary… maybe even a little weird.

And yet you know, deep down, it could change your life?
