The word “Reiki” comes from the Japanese words “rei,” meaning universal, and “ki,” meaning life energy. The goal of energy medicine is to facilitate the flow of energy in the body and clear any energy blocks. Improving the flow of energy around the body can promote relaxation, relieve pain, speed healing, and reduce various symptoms of illness.
